Hamilton Creek Mountain Bike Trail is Nashville’s & Davidson County’s only Mountain Bike Park. Located at 2901 Bell Rd, Nashville, TN 37217 - between Nashville’s Metropolitan Airport and Percy Priest Lake adjacent to the Sailboat Marina, Hamilton Creek consists of two trails connected by a tunnel that goes under Bell Road. It is considered one of the most technically challenging trail systems in Middle Tennessee. Originally created as a result of outlawed riding at Percy Warner Parks, the trail system is now over 15 years old and is currently being rehabilitated to I.M.B.A. standards through volunteer efforts. The Trails are situated on Army Corps of Engineer property and are managed by Metro Parks and Recreation.

Long Hunter State Park is situated along the shore of J. Percy Priest Lake. It consists of four units: Couchville, Baker’s Grove, Bryant Grove and Sellar’s Farm. Picnicking, swimming, hiking, backpacking, boating, fishing, nature photography and wildlife observation are among the activities available to park visitors. Planned activities include interpretive and recreation programs for the general public and environmental education programs for school and other interested groups.

Camp Widjiwagan (Joe C. Davis YMCA Outdoor Center) is a fun, action-packed adventure that offers campers a unique experience while strengthening the values parents instill in their children each day. Widjiwagan is an Ojibwa word meaning “close, lifelong friend.” At the YMCA, Widjiwagan translates into a fun, adventure-filled summer experience that helps campers grow strong in spirit, mind and body while learning valuable camp and life skills. Camp offers a perfect setting to teach character development, with daily opportunities for campers to learn teamwork, the art of cooperation and how to make good choices. As they begin to understand more about themselves and their surroundings, campers also form friendships that last well beyond their days at camp. It is then that they learn the true meaning of their time at Camp Widjiwagan.
